From Lloyd - KC5FM: Lord willing, after breakfast in Altus Saturday morning, I plan to head east to the Kiowa/Tillman County line. Following that, Caddo, Washita, and Greer County lines with Kiowa are planned. That should complete the day Saturday. Sunday, I will be on sporadically from Jackson County and may run out to the Harmon County line after church. Operators may be able to track me on APRS. I will post locations and frequencies to http://www.twitter.com/kc5fm KC5FM Route (Google Maps) shows the stops planned for Saturday. |

From Bob - W0BH: The Weather Forecast has prompted Bob and Lorna to forego their Saturday run. Sunday may still be possible. I know they are disappointed in snow powdering their log! We shall miss their participation in the 2010 OKQP Bob's comment in his email to us - Very Disappointing. Lorna (K0WHY) and I will run the same 32 counties we ran last year. Look for us CW/SSB on 20/40 and on 80 (early and late). Each county will be on at least 20 minutes. Here are the counties in the order visited: Saturday Grant, Kay, Garfield, Noble, Payne, Pawnee, Creek, Lincoln, Okfuskee, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Cleveland, McClain, Grady, Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Tillman, Kiowa, Jackson, Harmon, Greer, Beckham, Washita. Sunday Beckham (again), Washita (again), Custer, Roger Mills, Dewey, Woodward, Major, Blaine, Kingfisher, Logan, Payne (again), Noble (again). For a downloadable schedule, map, county-line info, frequency info and last-minute changes, go my QRZ.COM listing: http://www.qrz.com/db/w0bh. The OKQP allows county-line operations. After we work a county, I might send BK or say "Break" and give you the next county. Don't QSY too soon or you might miss a county! Hope we put you in the log many times! -- 73, Bob and Lorna |

From Chuck - NO5W: Colin-KU5B, Gary-W5ZL, and I are planning to be active again this year in the Oklahoma QSO Party running a multi-two out of my 2002 Pathfinder covering about thirty-six counties from southwestern to northeastern Oklahoma. As in the past we will focus on 20m and 40m CW and SSB. We do plan to also have 15m capability and plan to hit it harder than we have done in the past since things have been picking up lately on that band. We'll also have 80m capability and will give that band a try after the sun sets. Here's a list of our counties in the order we plan to cover them. Saturday: Jefferson, Stephens, Grady, Comanche, Cotton, Tillman, Kiowa, Jackson, Greer, Harmon, Beckham, Roger Mills, Beckham, Washita, Custer, Caddo, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Oklahoma, Cleveland, McClain, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Logan, Payne. Sunday: Noble, Pawnee, Osage, Pawnee, Osage, Tulsa, Creek, Lincoln, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Pontotoc, Garvin, Murray, Carter, Marshall, Carter, Love. A map showing the counties and the county line crossings can be found on the following page of my website. NO5W 2010 OKQP Rover Route Hope to see you in our 2010 Oklahoma QSO Party log. |

From Norm - W3DYA: MCCURTAIN, CHOCTAW, PUSHMATAHA, ATOKA, PUSHMATAHA,PITTSBURG, LATIMER, LE FLORE, HASKELL, SEQUOYAH, ADAIR, DELAWARE, CHEROKEE, MAYES, ROGER, WAGONER, MUSKOGEE, MCINTOSH, OKMULGEE, OKFUSKEE, POTTAWATOMIE, LINCOLN, SEMINOLE, HUGHES, PONTOTOC, COAL, JOHNSTON, BRYAN, MARSHALL This is the same as my list from 2009. I expect to be in McCurtain at 1300Z and stay in the Mayes/Rogers/Wagoner area Saturday night. I will run on 40, 20, 15, 10, and 80M. If no response on 10M and 80M during the day (none expected), I will probably skip them most of the time. I'll probably spend a lot of time in Le Flore county so will call longer on 80, 15 and 10M after running it on 40 and 20M. I will QSY on request to any of these bands. On 40 and 20M, I'll probably call below the ~045 center frequency, around ~043.5. On other bands I'll probably call on ~045 unless QRM, then I'll move down if necessary. If anyone needs anything on my list, feel free to email me and I'll note it on my paperwork. GL and 73, Norm, W3DYA |

from Larry - K5END: I'll be on the West side of the state and will be solo, unassisted, and probably operating CW only. Since I'll be pulling over to operate I have chosen some county intersections to do this. For example, if you work me at Beaver County and instead of "TU" I respond with something like, "RR (your call sign) es ELL," it means I've got another county for you. Most of these locations are at the intersection of three counties, as indicated below. At each of these locations I will work all workable bands before moving on to the the next location. Saturday I will operate at these county intersections. 1. Roger Mills/Custer/Beckham. 2. Will move down the road a short distance and work Washita, and pick up any stragglers for Custer and Beckham 3. Caddo/Canadian/Blaine 4. Alfalfa/Woods/Major 5. Dewey/Ellis/Woodward 6. Time permitting, Beaver/Harper & Ellis stragglers. Sunday 1. Greer/Harmon/Jackson 2. Kiowa/Tillman/Comanche 3. Cotton/Stephens/Jefferson 4. Time permitting will move to counties East. Looking forward to it! GL & 73! |
